Paint Splatter Nails

Published January 14, 2014 by beginnersnailart

Hi everyone, here’s the first post of 2014. I thought I’d try a bright paint splatter design to help with the January blues. It’s really easy to do but is a bit messy, so make sure you put down plenty of paper towels before you start and have cotton buds and polish remover handy for clean up. For the design you’ll need a white or nude base colour, three or four bright colours of your choice and a thin straw. I also added a gold stud to each nail, but that’s optional. I used Essie’s Limo-scene for my base and my bright colours are Beauty UK’s Fuchsia, Blue Moon, Sage Green and Yellow. The studs are from Born Pretty Store.

20140114-095828.jpgStep 1: after your base coat dries apply two coats of your base colour and let it dry.

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial, thanks for looking, Kirsteen.
